The RHS Wind Ensemble will be going to the Central Washington University Invitational Wind Ensemble Festival on Friday, March 5th. You will be excused for the day, and it is a requirement of the classÉit was on the calendar sent home at the beginning of the year. Below is some important information for you.

• In order to get to the festival to hear most of the bands, we will be loading and leaving at 6:45 AM on that day. (You can sleep on the bus!)

• You will need to bring your instrument and equipment, your music, and your complete uniform. (girls in skirts) (BLACK SHOES AND SOCKS!) There will be a place at CWU for you to change, so you do not need to wear your uniform to the festival.

• You are responsible for your lunch and dinner. Lunch will be at the Student Center on campus; dinner will be a row of fast food places. Bring either money for the meals or a sack lunch and/or dinner.

• Please do not bring valuables that you don’t need to the festival. Also, the equipment storage room will be monitored, but they do not promise total security, so do not plan on leaving anything besides your instrument and uniform there.

• We should be returning at Redmond High approximately 9:30 PM Friday evening.

• During the day at the festival, you are required to stay in the music building auditorium, listening appropriately to the other bands. (This means that during performances you are silent and attentiveÉno homework/Mp3 players/books/etc.). No food or drinks allowed in the theater; keep your feet on the floor.
