The Redmond Mustang Band Boosters are a non-profit 501C-3 organization dedicated to supporting the Redmond High School Mustang Band, and we are asking members of the Redmond business community for donations to the band program.
Every year we raise funds to cover major purchases to enhance the band program. Two years ago we spent $3,000 to purchase Pep Band Jackets for the students to wear at the home football games. Last year we raised $5,000 to purchase a new xylophone and recondition two baritone saxophones.
One way we’ve been successful raising these funds is by individuals contributing through their employer’s corporate giving campaigns. The Band Boosters qualify for corporate matching donations and for donations directed through the United Way. Local businesses with matching programs include Microsoft Corporation, Costco, Bank of America, The Boeing Company, Washington Mutual and many others.
We also sell ads in the concert band programs to raise funds to cover three $700 scholarships to graduating seniors. If you have a business that would benefit from exposure to the community, this is a great opportunity. The ad is published in the band programs for four concerts throughout the year. Approximately 200-300 people attend each concert.
In appreciation of your donation we will place your business card or other advertisement in the RHS Band Concert Programs throughout the year and encourage our community to support your business. Also, we would be thrilled to have you join us at our concerts scheduled for 7:00 PM in the beautiful RHS Performing Arts Center on the following dates:
